Abstract
Explains the introduction of a ban on the use of combustible materials for external walls of any residential building over 18 metres, following public and industry consultation in 2018. The Territorial extent of SI 2018/1230 is England and Wales only and the Territorial application is England only. Amendments will be issued for the Approved Documents along with other guidance detailing transitional arrangements.
