Abstract

Addendum to Professional Estates Letter (PEL) (13) 13. PEL (13) 13 gives advice on specific policy amendments to the guidance relating to decontamination in primary care dental practices which is applicable in Northern Ireland. This amendment provides interim guidance in relation to the cleaning of dental hand pieces.

Addendum 1 to PEL (13) 13. To be read in conjunction with PEL (13) 13 'Updated Northern Ireland guidance on decontamination in primary care dental practices: HTM 01-05 2013 edition' (DHSSPS, 2013). Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety is now known as Department of Health (Northern Ireland). Dated 24 March 2015. Professional Estates Letters (PELSs) contain Departmental policy in relation to design, construction, procurement, programme and project management, estate and facilities management, contractual matters, buildings, equipment, medical and electrical plant and medical device safety. They are designed to be used with relevant Department of Health (England) documents.
