Supersedes Joint DOE Circular 22/91 Welsh Office Circular 78/91: Travelling showpeople (DOE, 1991) and WAG Circular 30/2007: Planning for gypsy and traveller caravan sites (Welsh Assembly Government, 2007). Partially supersedes Joint DOE Circular 18/94 Welsh Office Circular 18/94: Gypsy sites policy and unauthorised camping (DOE, 1994) in so far as it applies to Wales.
