Specifies the characteristics of floor coverings with sustainable enhanced slip resistant characteristics under specified conditions based on polyvinyl chloride and modifications, supplied in either tile or roll form. It includes a classification system based on intensity of use, which shows where resilient floor coverings should give satisfactory service and gives details of the information to be included on the packaging labels.
Supersedes BS EN 13845:2005. Amendment dated 31 May 2018 - Implementation of CEN correction notice 02 August 2017: 1. In the last column of Table 2 under seam strength, replace each occurrence of the sign = with ≥ (4 times). 2. In Table 2, footnote b, replace the sign = with ≤.
