Comprises one of a series of guides setting out the scope of opportunities for building high quality places particularly using garden city principles, highlighting key points for consideration in planning for growth and signposting to further detailed information. Specifically focuses on creating new places that promote good health, setting out several principles for success. Also includes case studies centred on: Woodford Garden Village; integrated supported housing at Northfield Village; delivering accessible, active spaces at Whitehill and Bordon; delivering accessible health facilities on council owned and at Wickford; and meeting BREEAM standards at Temple Farm, Chelmsford.
