Abstract

Details the materials, characteristics, performance requirements, designation, marking, assessment and verification requirements for masonry units manufactured from natural stone the width of which is equal to or greater than 80mm, for which the main intended uses are common, facing or exposed masonry units in load bearing or non-load bearing building and civil engineering applications.

History

Supersedes BS EN 771-6:2011. This is a candidate harmonized European Standard and fully takes into account the requirements of the European Commission mandate M/116, Masonry and related products. This standard is a hEN. Amendment dated 31 March 2016 - Implementation of CEN amendment A1:2015. National Foreword also updated.
