Abstract

Provides guidance on earthing of electrical installations, including low voltage installations, the interface between LV and HV substations of 11 000/400 V within buildings and protective earthing and changeover switch arrangements for generators supplying low voltage installations.

History

First published as CP 1013:1965. First published as BS 7430, January 1992. Second edition, November 1998. Third (present) edition, December 2011. Came into effect 31 December 2011. Supersedes BS 7430:2011. This revision takes into account changes to legislation and other relevant industry standards. Amendment dated August 2015 - A1 - See Foreword.
