Replaces ACR[COM]001:2011. Since publication of ACR[CP]001 Recommended practice for work on profiled sheeted roofs (orange book), the Advisory Committee for Roof safety has received many requests for clarification of the recommendations contained in that publication, so have now issued this document to provide informative guidance.
Established in 1998, the Advisory Committee for Roof Safety (formerly known as Advisory Committee for Roofwork) is a body dedicated to making working on roofs safer. The committee is made up of nominees from trade associations and organisations involved in roofwork who provide the experience and advice given in their documents.
