Focuses on a self-contained, dedicated endoscopy unit for adults and children which would be located in an acute general hospital. Covers accommodation for four or five main groups of patient-related activities, including reception and registration, waiting, consultation, examination and treatment, recovery and discharge; as well as staff and storage facilities.
