Explanatory Memorandum
Abstract
Introduces amendments to Building regulations 2010. SI 2010/2214, Building (approved inspectors etc.) regulations 2010. SI 2010/2215 and Croydon corporation act 1960. For the inclusion of a requirement that new dwellings should not exceed a target fabric energy efficiency rate. Additionally parts of the Croydon corporation act 1960 have been repealed as they are considered unnecessary and impose additional fire protection, construction, maintenance and administrative cost burdens for car parks, large storage buildings and high buildings.

SI 2013/1959 may be cited as the Building regulations &c. (amendment) (No. 2) regulations 2013.
