Abstract

Sets out the strategic direction for the delivery of urban regeneration and community development policies and programmes in Northern Ireland for at least the next decade. The Framework sets out four policy objectives that will form the basis of any future policy or programme development in urban regeneration and community development: to tackle area based deprivation; to strengthen the competitiveness of our towns and cities; to improve linkages between areas of need and areas of opportunity; and to develop more cohesive and engaged communities.
