Abstract
Provides support for designers, owners and managers to formulate efficient strategies for the evacuation of mobility impaired occupants from buildings. Formulae and data are provided to quantify the relationship between the size and nature of population to be evacuated, the resources available to effect evacuation, and the level of fire protection afforded by the building where the evacuation occurs.
