Abstract
Explains the purpose of the recent changes to key building regulations legislation, including: the rationalisation of Parts K, M and N, changes to provisions for electrical safety in the home in Part P, changes to statutory notification and completion certificate provisions in the local authority building control system, changes to competent person self-certification schemes, changes to compliance certificates. Also describes the changes to notices of approval and declarations of insurance, evidential status and clarification of terms.
