Abstract
Replaces a previous version of Appendix D of Circular 09/95: General Development Consolidation Order 1995, updated to correct a factual error. The guidance is on the use of 'article 4 directions', which withdraw permitted development rights granted by the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995.

Replaced in England by the Planning practice guidance suite which is only available in its entirety online at http://planningguidance.planningportal.gov.uk/ ; we are therefore unable to add it to The Construction Information Service. Supersedes 2010 version which superseded annex D of DOE Circular 9/95.
