Designed to convey carbon dioxide from a central source on the premises to extinguish fire or protect particular plant or parts of the premises. Looks at 3 types of systems - total flooding, local application and manual hose reel.
Supersedes BS 5306-4:1986. Amendment A1 dated April 2012 - See Foreword for details. This standard has been withdrawn following a committee technical review, which has agreed that this standard conflicts with EN 17966:2024.
