Abstract

Specifies requirements for determination of the resistance of soils and soft rocks in situ to the dynamic penetration of a cone. Four procedures are included, covering a wide range of specific work per blow.

History

Supersedes BS EN ISO 22476-2:2005, which partially superseded BS 5930:1999 and BS 1377-9:1990, both of which have been amended to withdraw conflicting information. Amendment 16932 is Corrigendum No.1 dated 28 February 2007 Revision of National foreword. Amendment dated 31 January 2012 - Implementation of ISO amendment 1:2011 with CEN endorsement A1:2011.
