Abstract
Provides recommendations and guidance for the design, management and use of the following types of building types, to ensure reasonable standards in fire safety for all people in and around: dwellings, residential accommodation blocks, sheltered housing and extra care housing. Also covers aspects of ongoing management of fire safety through the life cycle of the building and can be used to assess existing buildings.
