Abstract
For designing aluminium alloy structures based on limit state of fracture induced by fatigue, giving rules for safe life and damage tolerant design.
History
Superseded by BS EN 1999-1-3:2023. This document is considered to be a first generation Eurocode and is the applicable standard for building and civil engineering works constructed in the UK. A period now exists to prepare for the transition between first and second generation Eurocodes. First generation Eurocodes will be withdrawn by BSI on 30 March 2028 and will be replaced by second generation Eurocodes. Supersedes BS EN 1999-1-3:2007, BS 8118-1:1991 and DD ENV 1999-2:2000. To enable EN 1999-1-3 to be used in the UK, the NDPs have been published in a National Annex. Amendment dated 31 December 2011 - Implementation of CEN amendment A1:2011.
