JCT Constructing Excellence Contract (CE)

Abstract

Acts as a general introduction to aspects of both the JCT Constructing Excellence Contract and the Project Team Agreement. Provides help on the completion of these two documents. Constructing excellence contracts are intended to encourage collaborative behaviour, get participants to recognise the importance of and require the use of risk management at the pre-tender stage to assist in delivering successful projects, provide flexibility in use, and be used throughout the supply chain.

Current edition: CE/G 2016. Previous edition: CE/G 05. JCT 2011 Contracts should not be used for construction contracts entered into after 1 October 2016. CE/G 2011. JCT 2011 has now been withdrawn following the successful release of the JCT 2016 edition of contracts, 10 May 2018.
