Abstract

Intended to be used where the employer wishes to appoint a contractor for a lump sum on the basis that the contractor will be responsible for the completion of the design and the production of all further design and/or production information that he requires.

Current edition: DG/G 2016. Previous editions: DB/G 05. JCT 2011 Contracts should not be used for construction contracts entered into after 1 October 2016. DB/G 2011. JCT 2011 has now been withdrawn following the successful release of the JCT 2016 edition of contracts, 10 May 2018.
