JCT Intermediate Building Contract (IC)
Appropriate for use between a Named Sub-Contractor and an Employer where the main contract is or will be the Intermediate Building Contract or Intermediate Building Contract with contractor’s design; and where the Sub-Contractor is to be ‘Named’ in the main contract or under its provisions to carry out the design and execution of sub-contract works under an Intermediate Named Sub-Contract Agreement (ICSub/NAM/A).
Current edition: ICSub/NAM/E 2016. Previous editions: ICSub/NAM/E 2005 (Revision 2 2009). JCT 2011 Contracts should not be used for construction contracts entered into after 1 October 2016. JCT 2011 has now been withdrawn following the successful release of the JCT 2016 edition of contracts, 10 May 2018.
