Abstract
Presents the results of research looking into some of the recommendations of the Pitt review after the floods in the summer of 2007, focussing on drying flooded buildings, specifically looking at existing guidance, use of guidance and if there are any gaps in knowledge. This report covers property surveys, methods and equipment used for drying buildings, target drying times, monitoring the drying process, health and safety and keeping the customer informed.
