BSRIA Guide
Intended to assist technical dialogue between the client and the designing team during the briefing process, and help clients to identify and raise technical questions that they feel are relevant to their organisation's specific needs. Describes the basics of ventilation, in part through illustrations distinguishing components, and key design checks necessary for a high quality system. Considers natural and mechanical ventilation, the mixed-mode approach, minimising cooling loads, thermal mass, control strategies, commissioning, maintenance and upkeep, and ventilation standards and requirements.
