Abstract

Applies to new electric service lifts with traction or positive drive, or hydraulic service lifts defined as lifting equipment, serving defined landing levels, having a car, suspended by ropes or chains or supported by a ram and moving between rigid vertical guide rails, or guide rails whose inclination to the vertical does not exceed 15°. Relates to service lifts with rated load not greater than 300kg and not intended for moving persons.
