Abstract
Outlines the methodology adopted to examine area change as part of the national evaluation of the National Strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal. Focuses primarily on modelling the likelihood of area transition between 2001 and 2006 and reviews the relative importance of social, economic and policy factors to the likelihood of change.
