Abstract

Details are given for the characteristics and performance of gypsum plasterboards intended to be used in building construction works including those intended for secondary manufacturing operations. It includes boards designed to receive either direct surface decoration or gypsum plaster.

History

Supersedes BS 1230-1:1985. This standard is a Harmonised European Standard (hEN). Amendment 16421 is Corrigendum No.1 dated 31 July 2006 - Supersession details added. Amendment dated 28 February 2010 - Implementation of CEN amendment A1:2009.
