Abstract

Gives requirements and test methods for ductile iron pipes, fittings, accessories and their joints for the construction of drains and sewers outside buildings, operating without pressure or with positive or negative pressure, can be installed either below or above ground and can be used to convey surface water, domestic waste water and certain types of industrial effluents.

Supersedes BS EN 598:1995. This standard is a Harmonised European Standard (hEN). Amendment dated 31 October 2009 - Implementation of CEN amendment A1:2009.
