Recommended area guidelines are now superseded by BB 104 Area guidelines for SEND and alternative provision: including special schools, alternative provision, specially resourced provision and units (DfE, 2015). Supersedes BBs 77, 91 and 94: Building Bulletin 77 Designing for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities in schools (2005 revision) (DfES, 2005). Building Bulletin 91 Access for disabled people to school buildings - management and design guide (DfEE, 1999).
