Abstract
Looks at the Beijing 2008 Olympic media centre by RMJM Hillier. During the Olympics the centre accommodated 21,600 accredited journalists and hosted the fencing and pentathlon pistol shooting events. Now that the Olympics have come to a close the building is going to be reinvented as China's National Convention Centre which will be open for business by July 2009.
