Gives details for performance requirements, test methods, marking conditions and various types of joints. Applicable for permitting access to, allowing aeration of, drain or sewer systems for conveyance of sewage, rainwater and surface water under gravity or at low head of pressure, that are installed in areas where there is vehicular and/or pedestrian traffic.
This document is a candidate harmonized European Standard and takes into account the requirements of EC mandate M118 wastewater engineering products. This standard is a hEN. Supersedes BS 5911-2:1998 and BS 5911-200:1994. Amendment 15289 is Corrigendum No.1 dated 29 July 2004 - Implementation of CEN corrigendum December 2003.
