Abstract

Provides background information relating to decisions for the Nationally Determined Parameters (NDPs) in the National Annex of BS EN 1992-2, commentary on some subclauses and commentary on those subclauses of BS EN 1992-1-1 that are also applicable to bridge structures in BS EN 1992-2.

Came into effect 31 July 2008. Gives non-contradictory complementary information for use in the UK with the Eurocode for concrete bridges, BS EN 1992-2 and its National Annex. This Published Document is not to be regarded as a British Standard. See also PD 6687:2006, which contains non-contradictory complementary information in support of BS EN 1992-1-1, and contains parts relevant to the design of structures to BS EN 1992-2.
