Abstract

Summarises minor changes and corrections to the 2008 editions of the Domestic and Non-Domestic Technical Handbooks.

History

Came into force 1 June 2008. Technical Handbooks 2008 - On 1 May 2007, a revised edition of the Technical Handbooks introduced significant revisions within sections 0, 1, 3, 4 and 6. The 2007 edition is now updated with corrections to sections 1, 2, 3 and 6. Other than corrections, there are no changes or additions to the 2007 standards and guidance within the 2008 edition.

The Scottish Building Standards Agency (SBSA) was disbanded on 1 April 2008 and its functions to administer the Building Standards system in Scotland were transferred back to the Scottish Government. The Building Standards Division includes Planning and Architectural Policy.
