Abstract
Determination of compliance with requirement B4 of the Building Regulations 2000. Relates to a new office building with six storeys and a plan area of 710m². The building’s windows’ proximity (215mm) to the site boundary led to the applicant proposing fire-resisting glazing with sixty minutes’ integrity and no insulation value for the windows. These proposals were rejected.
