Explanatory Memorandum
Abstract
Relates to the Town and Country Planning (Determination of Appeals by Appointed Persons) (Prescribed Classes) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2006. SI 2006/2227. Explains that these regulations amend the Town and Country Planning (Determination of Appeals by Appointed Persons) (Prescribed Classes) Regulations 1997 to give Appointed Persons (Planning Inspectors) the power to determine listed building consent appeals and listed building enforcement notice appeals in respect of Grade I and Grade II* listed buildings.
