Abstract
Demonstrates that fabric reinforcement, which has traditionally been regarded as not contributing to the structural performance of ground-supported slabs, does in fact make a significant contribution to the strength. The results of the slab tests justify the design approach included in Appendix E of the third edition of TR 34.
