Abstract
The report describes progress made since the Energy White Paper was published in 2003, specifically in the reporting period of 24 February 2003 to 23 February 2004. It presents progress towards cutting the United Kingdom’s carbon emissions; maintaining the reliability of the UK s energy supplies; promoting competitive energy markets in the UK; and reducing the number of people living in fuel poverty in the UK.
