Abstract
Investigates the future of waste management and particularly how the Government should encourage waste management options that are further up the ‘waste hierarchy’, i.e. that waste prevention and minimisation of waste generation are the first priorities, followed by re-use, recycling, use of waste as a source of energy, incineration without energy recovery and landfilling.
