Abstract
The Urban Task Force and the UK Round Table on Sustainable Development suggest the use of indicators to monitor progress towards sustainability. Considerable ongoing research has found it difficult to define appropriate indicators due to the broad and complex nature of sustainability. This checklist provides these tools and can be used by developers, designers, planners and the community as a common framework for discussion.
