Abstract
Headquarters for vacuum cleaner manufacturer Dyson in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. The building contains research and development and design studios as well as adding onto and expanding the existing manufacturing and production facilities. The building is a mainly steel and glass structure. The entrance pavilion, which links the existing and new areas, has a tensile fabric roof. The new main roof has a distinctive undulating profile. Gives working details of this waved steel roof with its projecting eaves. Detailed cost analysis also given.
