Abstract
Two articles on legal matters. The first argues that it is time to reconsider the benefits of using the ACA Forms of Building Agreement, rather than the JCT Standard Form of Building Contract, which has become so complex and unwieldy. The Engineering and Construction Contract [formerly the NEC] is also seen as fairly complicated to use. Second item examines Amendment 18 to JCT80.
