Abstract
Presents the results of a survey of local authorities in England and Wales in January 1989. The object of the survey was to identify current building problems being experienced in their stocks of housing, both rehabilitated (i.e. housing improved to current standards or better, either partially or fully) and non-rehabilitated (i.e. housing maintained and repaired to its original specification only), and to compare these problems with those identified from a similar survey carried out in 1983.
