Abstract

Establishes quality control requirements for structural bolts placed on the UK market and is intended to be used alongside the National Structural Steelwork Specification for Buildings and the Steel Bridge Group Model Project Specification for the Execution of Steelwork in Bridge Structures. It supports consistent supplier compliance and provides a basis for accepting structural fasteners in accordance with NSSS requirements, helping ensure reliability, traceability and suitability of bolting products for structural steelwork applications.
