Establishes a framework, with recommendations and documentation examples for carrying out a fire risk assessment of housing. Applies to: houses in multiple occupation (HMOs), blocks of flats or maisonettes (purpose-built or converted buildings), specialised housing, student accommodation, and areas providing access in mixed-use buildings with residential accommodation.
