This guide replaces Health Building Note 20: Facilities for mortuary and post-mortem room services. 3rd edition, building on the work of the NHS in Scotland and the Scottish Health Planning Note 16-01: Mortuary and Post Mortem Facilities: design and briefing guidance, by adding specific English requirements and incorporating legislative and policy changes and latest best practice.
