History
Supersedes Fire safety in purpose-built blocks of flats (under review by Home Office) (Home Office, 2011). First published in 2011. Re-issued by Home Office June 2021, updated 2022 and 2023. This document was produced in 2011 and summarised the legislation, guidance and best practice at the time of writing and should be viewed as no longer comprehensive. The Home Office is currently working on a revised version of this guide to be published in 2023. In the interim, it continues to be made available to fire safety professionals as it contains relevant and useful information for purpose-built blocks of flats. Revised January 2023.
