Abstract
Establishes the framework (but not the content) for developing built environment classification systems, identifying recommended classification table titles and shows how object classes are related. It fully supports building information modelling (BIM) and encompasses the project life cycle from briefing, design, construction through to operation and maintenance and demolition. Relevant to building, civil engineering, services and landscaping.
