Abstract
Announces the corrections issued for the clarified 2019 edition of Approved Document B, which came into force on 30 August 2019. The revisions relate to requirements in part B, Schedule 1 Regulations 6(3), 7(2) and 38 of the Building Regulations 2010. The corrected text relates to smoke control dampers, double-skinned insulated roof sheeting, fire detection and alarm systems in large dwellinghouses, reference to BS 5839-6:2019, and doors on escape routes.
