Abstract
Comprises a summary of the output of wind farm schemes (over 5 Megawatts (MW)) in Wales which are being considered, have been approved or are operational. The summary table differentiates between: projects up to 50 MW, which are determined under Town and Country Planning legislation; and projects over 50 MW, which are the responsibility of the UK Government. The summary table distinguishes between the different Strategic Search Areas (SSAs), as identified in TAN 8, as well as schemes outside of an SSA. The table also separates schemes which have been operational prior to, or since, the publication of TAN 8 in 2005.
