Abstract
Advises on the use of the Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) and other approved software tools such as the National Calculation Methodology (NCM) for complying with the carbon emission requirements of the Building Regulations for England and Wales in respect of buildings other than dwellings, and for calculating asset ratings as part of preparing energy performance certificates (EPCs) for buildings other than dwellings.
