Abstract

Provides principles and test methods used in WHTM 01-06 for technical personnel with appropriate training and experience, also validation engineers, and those responsible for the day-to-day running of decontamination equipment.

History

This guidance is based on the HTM 01-06:2016 Decontamination of flexible endoscopes. Part E: testing methods published by the Department of Health in 2016. Replaces WHTM 01-06 Part D: 2014 Decontamination of flexible endoscopes. Part D: testing methods. The previous Welsh specific version of this document (WHTM 01-06 2014) was referred to as Part D. This has been amended to Part E in this version in order to bring it in line with the Department of Health guidance on which it is based.
